Kyle is part of a team of pseudo soldiers playing a rich man's game. Sometimes they test security systems, sometimes they play elaborate games of capture the flag.
While Kyle appreciates the money, he is reaching the end of his willingness to be the toy soldier others moved around a global game board.
There is just this one last job and then he is out. It is a simple recovery job, or so he is told. The simple job soon spirals into a nightmare that threatens to swallow his very soul.

Dr. Michael Hill is awoken in the middle of the night by a strange call. At first he thinks it is a prank, but soon he finds it to elaborate for merely a joke. Deciding it is a game dreamt up by his sister and his best friend as an apology for missing his birthday, Michael decides to play along.
